Job Summary:

The Controller is responsible for accounting and financial reporting with the ability to manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to the organization's overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturer’s format and time frame.

  • Partner with assigned dealership(s) management to ensure that the store(s) is operating to produce planned profit, return on investment, and equity.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of expenses throughout dealership operations and assist dealership employees with understanding the expenses.

  • Ensure that complete, accurate, and up-to-date accounting records for assigned dealership(s) sales, purchases, and other financial transactions are maintained according to generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Ensure that all tax reporting and payments are made on a timely basis.

  • Develop and maintain an effective cash management system.

 

Qualifications:
